1teaspoonfresh gingerminced or paste
1tablespoonarrowroot starchor cornstarch

Garnish: sliced green onions and sesame seeds

Optional: air fried red peppers or other veggies
Instructions
Cook the ground beef until there is no more pink.
While it's cooking, in a small bowl combine the brown sugar, hot water, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, arrowroot, and red pepper flakes. I recommend you stir the arrowroot powder into the hot water before adding it to the bowl, this will make it easier to dissolve without clumps. Go light on the red pepper until you can taste the final version. Whisk together.
Once the beef is cooked, pour the liquid mixture into the pan and stir. It should immediately bubble and start to thicken. Cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring consistently, until the mixture thickens absorbs slightly, so there's not liquid but instead a nice thick sauce.
Serve over rice and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. This makes a great meal prep option.
